I realized that I'm long overdue for a new blog, not to mention a new set. So, I'll knock out one of the two tonight...
Updates: As far as health goes, I'm a medical disaster and starting to think the doctors are just using me as a guinea pig of sorts. Just had surgery about 3 weeks ago and probably going to need another surgery within the next few months depending on how I respond to the new concoction of meds. Long story short all of my migrain meds caused damage to my vega nerve which operates alot of the digestive organs. My gallbladder quit completely and had to come out and I was also dx'd with gastroparesis, which is partial paralysis of the stomach, among a few other not-so-serious but very uncomfortable and irritating conditions that I won't bore the average reader with. Anyway, more new pain, more new drugs, more doctors to deal with. Oh joy.
School is going well. That's one of the few positive things I've got going for me I guess. Just finished spring quarter today actually. I'm still going full-time all summer trying to get this shit knocked out.
The big move out west has pretty much been put on hold in lieu of all the health issues.
Hmmm, what else? Flloyd, the rescued redtail, is doing excellent. He's made pretty much a full recovery (pictures posted in the reptilia group). Riddick, on the other hand, has finally figured out that he's stronger than me. At 18 foot and about 60lbs it's his way or no way now. He does as he pleases and I just follow him and clean up whatever he knocks down in the process LOL When we went outside for a swim this spring he tried to escape under the house and attempted to eat one of the cats resulting in a wrestling match under the porch: Serpentina Vs. Riddick. We'll call that one a drawl. Too bad there wasn't a video camera rolling that day.
I've been getting a lot of requests for a new set lately since I'm quickly approaching my 1 year on SG... I'm still waiting on the scars from surgery to heal (they were pretty gnarly) but I have been in contact with a few different photogs around here so, hopefully, before too long I'll have another set going up for everyone that has been waiting so patiently
Much love to all and I hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine this summer!
Until then...
