i saw your new set, and ended up on your blog. the carm site is bothersome to me. i am generally very upset by this sort of persecutive thought in general, and find it arrogant and ignorant and hateful and malignant. i've been fighting against it for lifetimes.

Just remember, he is needing a definitive "truth" in his life and having a full answer works for him. Perhaps he is too scared to enjoy the journey of the unknown and the thrill of discovery. My journeys throughout the world made me realize the answer is not simple enough for one person or religion to know.
You needed to decide what your comfort was, and severing ties was right for now... remember the only thing that is permanent is impermanence.

Wow, that guy on the CARM site is a piece of work!! I'm catholic, and don't get me wrong I'm not your typical go to church weekly type catholic. In fact I married out of the faith, and rarely go to church(to my parents chagrin). I have issues believing alot of what the church has tried to do, but above all you have to believe in tollerance of other faiths. Everyone has the right to thier personal beliefs. As far as your brother thinking your wiccan, that's a HUGE compliment compared to be associated with those CARM clowns. I have some close friends who are wiccan and they are great people! OK. I'll get off the soap box now.
