So Bella (my dog) wakes me up at 6am (too early for my taste) and on Saturday nonetheless. The up side is I've been completely unmotivated to get moving on my bathroom (too damn early) so I've been channel surfing (like I do every morning, except today I don't have to work). In the morn I usually flip between the Today show and Good Morning America so I can sort of catch up on the news and hopefully be entertained a bit as well.
Long story short, Jason Mraz was on the Today show this morning. I love him. I saw him open for Dave Matthews a few years ago and then I saw him on Austin City Limits earlier this year and I'm hooked. I really love all types of music from punk and industrial to plain rock and old school new wavy crap. But one thing I can never get enough of is acoustic stuff like Jason Mraz, Jeff Buckley and Dave Matthews.... I'm not sure if it's becase I'm a purist (still take pics with a non-auto camera) or if it's because my mom played guitar when she was pregnant with me and my dad was always screwing around on a guitar when I was growing up. My mom thinks her pregnant guitar playing is why I've always been such a music fanatic. Whatever the reason, doesn't matter really.
Alright this dog is driving me crazy today... it's like she's on speed. She's usually so mellow but she's wanted me to let her outside 3 times already and all she's doing is sniffing the air..... weirdo! I have a ton on squirrels and she never bothers with them. I could almost understand her wanting to go outside if she messed with the squirrels. It wouldn't bother me but she's older so I constantly worry about her especially since she was abused as a pup. I don't know if there's any evidence to support my theory, but I'm guessing that abused/neglected dogs probably have a shorter lifespan (even if they're treated like queens later in life). I wouldn't doubt it if it lowers their immunity or something. Anyways, enough dog talk for the day! Time to get off my ass and over to my brother's (my bathroom helper for part of the day!).
I'm just a curbside prophet....

onto your theory about the abused dog thing... Hmm better be carefull with a theory like that - some idiot from one of those useless university like Harvard or Yale will actually apply (and get approved) for a government grant to do a study on it.
