So, I'm taking a philosophy class.... "Problems of Philosophy" which sounds like it should be interesting enough. Except I'm starting to think that half the class is super religious. Granted, most of them are pretty much fresh out of high school and that could change as they age. But, we're supposed to answer 1 out of 10 questions in the first chapter.... one of the questions is "Would you liketo step inside a happiness box?" (whee you're happy but the happiness is false). I don't know who or where something was lost in translation but they're answering the question "What makes you happy" and so far a lot of them talk about their relationship with God makes them happy. It just strikes me as an odd response (and frankly a rather trite one) to a question that isn't even there. Maybe I expect too much from today's youth.
I'm kind of bummed because I should be in Boston this weekend seeing Blue Man group with one of my oldest girlfriends. She lives up near there and she mentioned it to me this week. Of course, she's the reason I can't go actually because she will be here nxt week with her kids and I have to finish getting my bathroom in working order before they get here..... 4 people and 1 bathroom is not a good idea! I haven't been to Boston in years..... I think my feet are just itching to get out of Florida or at least Orlando. Sad thing is, I was in Connecticut last month and will be in California in July (and maybe NC in June). I just have little patience for this place at times. I don't really want to move because my family is here and now that I think about it, I'd probably want to be globetrotting no matter where I lived. I'm just that kind of girl!

I am also working on redoing my bathroom. I am in the process of tearing all the wallpaper out of there, albeit I have been in this process for 6 months now. I am the grand procrastinator after all. You are more than welcome to come by and finish this task for me anytime that you like
Anyways, don't expect too much from that philosophy class. You need to remember that they are still young and don't quite have all that wisdom that you have accrued. (and don't expect much from them anyways...they all went to florida public schools and God makes them all happy...woohoo!)
