UPDATE!!!
I have a telephone interview on Thursday. It is not the job I would prefer, but it's a start and a foot in the door with the city government (can you say 18 hours of college paid for each year??). Think good thoughts for me! I really need a job!
Ten reasons why I should win the lottery:
1) I just found out my across the street neighbors might have to move back to Mexico even though they don't really want to. They have 3 adults and 4 kids in a 3 bedroom house that is less than 1200 square feet. They sell food at construction sites during the day. They cook all night (I've seen them up til at least 2 am). They moved here to try to find something better for their kids and even working like crazy hasn't helped them. I wish I could.
2) My friend Ron is awesomely talented. He does CGI type stuff, yet he still cannot catch a break. It seems hard to get your foot in the door if you don't know the right people.
3) I would love to have a place where I could have more dogs or at least foster them. Cats, I am not too fond of right now.
4) I would pay someone to work on making teleporters so it wouldn't matter where I lived. Then I would allow everyone to copy my patent so that everyone could afford to use these things.
5) I would love to not have to worry about bills. I would love to be able to see if little here, little there hobbies could turn into a passion and to see if that passion could turn into something I could do fulltime for a living. I'm talking about sewing, making fun little trinkety things, baking, restoring old furniture... There's a slew of things I would love to dive into, but I currently do not have the time nor the money.
6) I would hire someone to teach me woodworking.
7) I would give lots o' money to my favorite charities... most being based on finding a cure for AIDS.
8) I would spoil everyone rotten from my less than 2 month old niece up to my mom.... hell, maybe even my dad.
9) School would be easy to go to and pay for.
10) Who knows... I guess 10 seemed like a good number, but I guess I don't have 10 reasons why tonight. Maybe I'd throw a big party... or two... or three...
