I had decided last week that I would return to school for a bachelors in baking and pastry arts when I move to Boston in November. But yesterday, as I sat in a ceramic studio painting several pieces I had thrown on the wheel 2 weeks earlier I realized that I loved what I was doing and needed to return to what I had given up two years earlier and had been craving to come back to ever since.
I'm not dropping my career as a pastry chef, wedding cakes and showpieces are a passion and a skill that will remain my main focus. I'll find a job in Boston as a cake decorator, go back to school for a bachelors in entrepreneurship, as was formerly planned at JWU, and take ceramic classes on the side.
These are major life decisions, and not ones to be taken so lightly. I can't help but dwell on where life will take me and what I need to do to get where I want to be. Its all I can think about...

Hope you have a good trip back to the states.
I know how it is to have something your passionate about doing. I really love photography. I just wish I could find a way for it to pay the bills. lol.
