Artists update:
1) I'm still working on the chocolate helicopter due to lack of free time.
2) I designed and am currently creating a showpiece cake at work for a party for Obamas Inauguration. Its pretty bad ass. I made the sweetest donkey today.
3) My chef seems to think carving into clay and chocolate is the same as indenting fondant. I had to replicate a Polish Mountain Mans axe.....yes, an axe. I'm not a fan of that kind of art, any fool could have carved such a design. But eh, the boss said to do it! Compare the real thing and my fake:
4) We FINALLY finished our massive wedding cake today. I went to help set it up at the hotel and was very disappointed to see the rest of the decor. Atleast it made the cake look that much better lol. I hope it doesnt take away from the bride too much
