I LOVE BOLLYWOOD!
hee hee, le tigre and i saw Bride and Prejudice last night! it was sooo funny and sweet. it was the first movie i've seen in the theatre for a while. soooo much fun.
but something weird happened last night. after the movie we went to get sushi at this place we have been several times before. its ok, but not the best, which makes it weird that we'd go back there considering what food snobs we are (or at least i am). so we arrive at the restaurant, it was dead in there. i had this bad feeling about the place. it smelled weird (like pee kinda, but she couldn't smell it) and the servers all looked like death to me. it was almost like i was hallucinating, they looked sickly and gaunt... i got the weirdest vibes, then i knew we shouldn't eat there. so we left. le tigre was not happy about that. she was embarassed that we left, we had ordered tea, so we put a few $ on the table and told them we were going home.
we went down the street to another sushu place and had a great dinner and a great time. she got over it once we were in the other restaurant that was clearly not as freaky as the first one.
the lame part for me is that this has happened before, i've has a very bad feeling about something and so i've left the place, or taken a different route home, or chosen a different liquor store to stop at, but i never know if my intuition is being truthful because i never go against it. i've never been able to prove that something bad would have happened...or if i was just being paranoid.
any ideas on this? does anyone else argue with their intuition but always end up following it?
