Time to update, I suppose.

Cute chick at school is really trying hard. She seems very fake to me, like she's lying about what she likes and is into just to keep my attention. I'll be talking about something, decide it is possible, or probable, that she is unfamiliar with what I am talking about. So, I'll ask her if she is familiar with China's CCP and recent current events there, and she will nod her head and keep listening.

No reason she can't just be really smart, but she never seems to not know what I'm talking about. I talk about Vampire: The Masquerade, and she claims to know all about it while I talk. I should ask her some question only a fan would know like, "Which is your favorite clan?", but I don't want to embarass her (or she'll come up with some excuse like, "Oh, I haven't decided.").

Whatever. I'm convinced she's full of it. If she would just be herself, she might be more interesting.



A girl in my class has been smiling at me off and on for some time, but I rarely allow myself to jump to conclusions and think "ooh, she's interested!" Smiling doesn't necessarily mean much.

However, I decided to ask her out to lunch. She said no, she's busy, but I should ask her again some other day. So, we are getting lunch together on Friday (I guess that's tomorrow), even though I have to skip a class to do it. whatever. I'm graduated already so I don't need a good grade. Easy class anyhow.
