Sitting here, listening to Tool, checking out old pictures of Voltaire, and reading while I wait for my web pages to load on my slow-ass dial-up computer. That's right, had to switch to dial-up temporarily for reasons I'd rather not go into. Not that you'd care.
What am I reading? The Bible. Haha. Downloading Porn with a Bible in my hand.
No, complete coincidence. I figured I'd pick up something to kill time while I waited for pages to load, and look what was handy. I realized the irony of the situation and decided I had to share. Again, not that anyone is listening.
The cute chick from school has very clearly expressed her interest in me, but I decided some time ago that I was no longer interested. After making this decision, I made a point not to do anything to encourage her, but there you go. If I go out with her and I'm uninterested, she'll ultimately end up hurt when we break up, so no dating "just to be nice". That wouldn't be nice, just extra mean.
So, how do I tell her I'm uninterested when I appeared interested two weeks ago? Just tell her? Direct approach? Yeah, I thought so too. That just sounds mean, but letting her stay deluded for a few weeks before she realizes that we ain't ever gonna happen sounds bad too.
I did meet someone else at school who also seemed interested. I could just be imagining things, but I don't think so. Either way, I bumped into her at an odd time in an odd location and find it unlikely that I will be lucky enough to accidently bump into her again. If I do, I'll stop being a punk-ass and ask her out, but I doubt I'll see her again. Big School. Not holding my breath. Oh well.
New girlfriends can apply right here.
