Read This: Actor Gets Vigilante on Rapist's Ass
That totally made my day. Then I saw this:
"Not that I care about the rapist, but I'm not exactly comfortable with justice by way of vengeance seeking actor wielding pipe. Not to say Ransone's actions aren't excused, but celebrating the violence feels like it crosses a line. I'd definitely much rather he had just restrained or incapacitated the guy." -Hooraydiation
What an ass-hole. I must say I totally condone violence. Violence is appropriate in so many situations. It's fucking cowards like this that allow rapists to function with little fear of the consequences. Mr. James Ransone obviously had a hard enough time chasing after the guy as it was, and he is supposed to restrain the guy? The rapist doesn't want to get arrested. He is going to run. Beating him with a pole is much more likely to incapacitate him anyhow. Damn shame he got away. That's why I agree with this guy:
"A lawyer will probably persuade the alleged would-be rapist to sue Ransone in civil court for continuing to beat him after the alleged would-be rape was halted.
This is why you should kill them."
-StickyRice
I'm advocating killing the rapist? OMG. Yup, you bet. In many ways, I've always felt that rape is a much worse crime that murder. Murder is usually a crime of passion; rape is usually premeditated. If you kill my mother, then with enough healing time and your constant begging for forgiveness, I might be able to forgive you, maybe. If you rape my mother, . . . you die, as soon as I can premeditate it. Nevertheless, the rapist wasn't killed, just beaten, which is nowhere near as bad as that poor woman would have gotten if Ransone had been a pacifist pansy like Hooraydiation. And since this journal is for all to read, you can all quote me on that.
