Haven't been writing as much lately. I am apologetic, but not sorry. I've been too busy partying!
I feel the need to mention, yet again, that that is Bret Easton's pic over there, not mine. Someone is going to get angry at me one of these days for misrepresenting myself. He looks a lot like me, at least in this picture, and I am having issues with my digital camera. This is my disclaimer.
I went to the Boo-and-brew at the Reniassance Festival on Friday night, after a very short Vampire:the Masquerade game. It was really friggin cold, but we did see the x-rated Tortuga twins show. Been awhile since I've seen those two . . . um, three? Since when have they had three . . . twins? Who is this Raphael dude? Whatever.
The girl from my last entry was there. Her name also begins with an "s", so I will call her "E" instead (her middle name). We talked a lot that day b4 our Vampire game and I suggested that I was interested in her. E didn't seem to believe me. She hates her body and thinks I'm picking on her when I tell her she's beautiful or that she turns me on. We did stick together the whole time we were at the Renn Fest though, and I got her a purple, fake, leather rose.
The next day (yesterday), we went to a friend's Halloween party. Yes, those of you who did your math figured out that this was two days early. Congrats. Now shut up.
I met "E" at CPCC with three adorable kids she was babysitting because she lives to the south of Charlotte and I to the north, and I wanted to save her some gas-money. We them took the kids home. During the car ride, I had a surprisingly intellectual conversation with the 13 and 9(?) year old boys about the economics of the video game industry (inspired by my stupid economics classes). These kids must have been reading the Wall Street Times because they really knew their company news, like they were Sony stockholders. Some would say that is just sad. I say they are getting an education, let it go.
We then went to the party only to discover that it was outdoors. She went as a female Indianna Jones (in a skirt instead of pants) and I as a Frenchman (complete with French military jacket I borrowed from her. A real one, of course. Cool chick, ne?). I was cold, she must have been dying in that skirt. One guy came in a mesh shirt. He also was unaware that the party would be outside and was quite miserable. We left early.
No big deal. We went home and smooched. I think the smooching may have finally convinced her that I am sincerely interested. If not, I'll have to try harder That'll be a shame. My lips tingled for hours afterwards.
Good damn weekend. Long damn entry.

What do I play? Ehhh...let me see. Mostly Call of Cthulhu, some D&D occasionally and a monthly Arcanum game (using a heavily modified WW setting). But I've also run a Vampire LARP, played tabletop Vampire, Mage, Wraith. Ad&d, Paranoia, Dreampark, Marvel Superheroes, Chill etc. etc.
