I'm only writing this journal because it's late and I'm bored, I'm waiting for a film to download, and I'm sick of watching repeats of the Winter Olympics opening ceremony. Although I am looking forward to watching the coverage later today and I love that Cheburashka is Russia's mascot for the games again. Although I think the little fluffball could be their mascot for almost everything.



Last year I went to see eels live and their support 'act' was a Cheburashka stop motion film. It was wonderful.

I'm joining in with the SGUK CD swap activity which should be funny. I get pretty obsessive over mixtapes. It took me about a month to plan and make one for my American friend's Christmas present.

So, Valentines Day next week.
And that's all I have to say on the subject. Let's just say I haven't had the most productive few months.

I've haven't seen my University for about two weeks now. I've had this whole week off work on paid holiday and I haven't really got anything to show from it apart from a few sketches, some workable music, and 53 shine sprites on Mario Sunshine.
This weekend I have a couple of essays to do so I shall get up early, buckle down, and spew out some words about Sound Waves and Media Business Law.

Change of plan to my last journal entry.
Jamie T is now on next saturday. So instead of that I'm going to see a Damn You! gig featuring these chaps:

Ross is preoccupied* tomorrow night so we're not having our usual bitter, cynical and very drunk night out in Rescue Rooms Hipsterland. Instead, I have Twin Peaks, The Three Colours Trilogy and The Station Agent to watch. Oh sweet Library card, what would I do without you.

Malnourished ears? Have some music.
