Oh my lord, what a few months I've had. But now I'm back on SG - rejoice!
I've had some really awkward ex-girlfriend stuff to go through (booty calls turned into long conversations and I had to cause some heartache, should have known better...), some work, some decisions and some personal growth.
But I'm back. I'm still single and enduring an interesting period of my life. I met the single most amazing girl; we clicked. She's into the same scene, breath-takingly attractive, funny, intelligent and a geek - I was smitten. She's not into me in that capacity.
So we're just spending time together as friends (something I can handle now I'm an adult). So while it is rather sobering/depressing to be shunned by the embodiment of perfection, it is at least comforting to know that your unrealistic standards are attainable.
I've been exercising more (after a poor run of health that required only my second doctors visit in 11-12 years) so feeling a bit better, but in an awkward transitional phase in so many aspects.
So in short, slightly thinner, more emotionally balanced and less overworked, but having fallen for a friend. Yep, this is life as usual then!
Much love for you all... xox
