So we finally played first show lastnight in Livermore. It went well overall, though I know I could have played much better. 15 minutes before our set, while we were unloading out equipment, I had as many butterflies in my stomach as there are in a Monarch Butterfly migration. So all of the stuff was unloaded, and I was the only one outside because I am not 21. I was just pacing around for the last five minutes with my guitar just warming up my fingers and all that. It was actually kind of funny hehe. Once we had all of our equipment onstage and were ready to play, I felt so incredibly calm up there. I don't know what it is about being on a stage in front of people that makes me feel that way, but it feels damn good haha. Once we played our last song, the crowd asked for more. This took us by suprise because no one, besides the people we invited, knew who the hell we were, and we didn't really have a finished song to play. We ended up jamming on a song we've been experimenting with for a few weeks to see what would happen. None of knew what the hell was going on, and it probably sounded horrible, lol. Anthony (vox/guitar) fell over and unplugged all of his equipment in the process during that last jam. I love this guy because he gets so into it and goes all out, even during practice. It's awesome. It kind of sucked after our set because none of my friends were able to make it since they weren't 21, so I just kind of stood off to the side and no one talked to me except for Charles (drums) every once in a while. The experience was great nonetheless and I hope to do this so much more. It's all I really would rather do for the rest of my life.

I'm all moved back into my mom's house now. I realized yesterday that I don't own many things. I have my bed, a sock drawer, books and photos, music equipment, TV, DVDplayer, an NES and SNES, and a PS2 that my roomate didn't want anymore. It's all I really need I guess lol.

O yeah my birthday is on Monday. I am not sure if I should do anything or not. I kind of want to because I always end up sitting at home on my brithdays, but I'm not sure there is much to do when you're 20. Eh well whatever's clever.
