Isn't it wonderful how life works sometimes? I was into my third accident today, and this was the one that finally immobilized my little Honda. I ended up rear ending someone, causing them to rear end another person. All I remember happening was crossing the intersection, turning my head for a second, then looking in front of me only to find that the pickup truck I was behind was stopped, and BOOM. The only damage to the car in front was done to his rear bumper, which came loose, and the van in front of him barely has a scratch.
I always get the worst of it and I don't ever understand why. The damn police officer even gave me a citation for "speeding", and now I have to appear in court next month. I shouldn't have even given them an estimate because I still really couldn't comprehend what had just happened, but I said I was probably going 40mph. 5 miles over the speed limit shouldn't cost much I hope, but even still I am finacially fucked for a couple of months. Again it's so wonderful the way life works because this decided to happen conviniently enough after making some big purchases.
I am hoping that everything will be fine, and I am qutie sure of it, but there's always a little voice in the background that's thinking the worst.
Life, you are very funny sometimes.
:-)

Also, it turned out the guy driving the BMW as a personal injury lawyer. I was damned lucky that they were so nice about the whole thing, especially because it was my fault (I ran a red light). Still sucked, though!
and yes life can be funny *hug*
