I start Beauty School in 5 days.
I am super excited, and glad that I've finally taken the first steps. I'll be going to school for 8 hours a day, 5 day a week, but with taking my son to and from day care and riding the bus out to Portland that turns it into a 11 - 12 hour day.
I'll be going for everything that the school offers. And hopefully be a fully certified Cosmetologist in 16 months.
Hair Design/ Barbering, Nails and Esthetics.
I'm sure I will be looking for people brave enough for me to practice on sometime in the future.
Other than getting settled into the new apartment and getting set up for school, I can't say I've been up to much else, though I don't think I've had much time for anything else.
