So... on my way to visit my dad I saw one of the saddest things ever. On the way back I hit a really bad rain storm. Fun. Wish I wouldn't have had to drive through it though, because that made it end faster.
I'm feeling a bit depressed. Lonely. Nothing new.
My best friend should be home from China real soon. That makes me a little happy, but not much, since I'll rarely see her with all this working.
Skip this if you don't want to read about the sad thing. It has to do with a kitten and has a bad ending.
So I am driving over a bridge that goes over train tracks, at least 40 feet high I would say. As I am getting near the middle of it, I see this plastic bag rolling around in the midst of cars. Only it wasn't a plastic bag, it was a young cat. Somehow it survived whatever had hit it and caused it to flip around on the road, got scared, and jumped up onto the cement railing on the bridge. And then off of it... and down to the tracks... this all happened so quickly, I was in the left lane, it was in the right lane, and I was looking a little ways behind me by the end.
I didn't stop. I felt bad that I didn't stop and check on it. But it's tresspassing to go on the tracks and not really that safe I don't imagine, and it's all fenced in. I can only imagine that it died. Right? I hope it didn't land and survive with broken legs or something and is suffering right now. The whole drive to my dads I just wondered if I could or should have done something.
And how the crap did it get in the middle of a large bridge in the middle of two lanes of oncoming traffic without getting hit sooner? What happened that made it stop being able to avoid traffic half way up it? Or did some peice of shit through it out their window? I don't think the car that hit it even slowed down, I'm not sure if they even knew what happened.
OK I think I should stop talking about that now, I'm putting myself in a real bad mood.
