I quit my job of nine years this past week and plan to devote my time to my writing and my bands. We are auditioning drummers for my latest project, an original metal band, this week. My other band is going strong and playing out regularly. It was a big decision to leave social work behind but I felt it was now or never. I'm starting a development company with a partner so I'll have plenty of cash to support my creative habits. It's really freeing not to punch a clock anymore, I was not cut out for that 9 to 5 crap anyway. Oh well, it's make it or break it time
