an "emo kid" is a person who listens to a kind of music classified as "emo" which is short for emotional.
"emo" music is (for lack of a webster's definition) emotional music in which the singers --who are men-- sound like pre-pubescent boys and the style of singing is pretty close to whining. they typically sing about girls, broken hearts, or sad whiny shit. hahah anything to complain about that hurts the heart.
now, dont get me wrong... i like quite a few emo bands but emo gets belittled alot cos its not "tough and macho".
i was being an emo kid in every definition
