Hello! this is my first blog homework in a long time.
This week is about haunted places so I am def a very spiritual person so it's safe to say I believe in ghosts and all that spooky shit. I've been to a few spots but my favorite has to be Devil's Gate in Pasadena not only cause the rocks over the gate does look like a creepy devil face but the day I went the gate was open so I was able to go inside where you definitely feel like you aren't alone, the place is mainly known for being a place occultists took a liking to for rituals and for kids suddenly disappearing around it.
There is another place I went to called The Haunted Forest (aka The Enchanted Forest) in Pasadena which is known for a nun being hanged there and supposedly satanic rituals and executions that happened there. It's def more known as I went at around midnight and you see groups of people exploring alongside, this is a place where you need to bring a flashlight cause you can't see an inch in front of you, I hiked up along the trail with a friend and after an hour and a half we saw a bench and took a break here and a girl appears out of no where with no light source to help her walk down, I called out to her asking if she needed help but she vanished, 20 mins later a group of kids walked by and I asked if they saw her and no one knew or saw who we were talking about even tho its the only trail back. We continued to move on together and after 2 hours later we decided to head back down and go home. The closer we got down we started seeing things we didn't see on the way up. When we made it to the gate we started hearing screamings even tho we didn't see anyone else in the area anymore, we all ran heading toward it but we couldn't find the source of it which is I guess a common thing people experience.
