Hey SG world. It's been a while. It's not you, it's me, promise. (That line works here, right?)
I've just been super busy lately.
Life has changed a bit drastically for me in the last few months since I really updated this. Nothing too big, I'm still alive and well and my family's been good, but my musical endeavors have changed quite a bit. For starters, I've washed my hands completely of The Man/The Martyr, and I'll not be stepping foot onstage with them again. Also, I had a bit of trouble with the album was planning to put out. (My laptop ate everything I was working on, and I mean EVERYTHING.) But I had it all backed up...to a point. But that's okay! I realized that I just wasn't ready to put out a professional kind of album like that. Maybe farther down the line. But hey with bad has to come with good, right? I've joined a new, more professional, and VERY promising band, called Until The Wind Shifts. (Check us out on Facebook!) In this band, however, I've taken the position of drummer. It's weird; before they came to me, I was actually considering hanging up live music for a while and sticking strictly with producing, and setting up a studio. Now, I've shaken off the rust and gotten right back into my groove as a drummer. Our first show is on December 15th, and we're all extremely excited. Something I'm not used to is having a manager for a band. But I love it, honestly, because this band actually has it's shit together. All of the guys are fucking amazing, too. There are six of us total, excluding Ben, our manager. There's JC, our singer/keys player, Caleb, our screamer, Mike, our bassist, Thrasher and Tyler, our guitarists, and then lil' old me on drums! We're actually in the process of completing our first EP, entitled Skybound, which I'm sure I'll be talking about here when the time comes. I'm going to be going into the studio later this morning to re-work some drum tracks, and I'm beyond excited.
Let's see...I think that's everything. At least for now.
Hopefully I'll be a bit more frequent with posting in the future.
Thanks for reading!

What happened with the man/the martyr? Sounds like maybe you didn't leave on the best of terms...
