I had plans to travel to Italy in August but I don't think I will be able to travel in August due to work. I am thinking it will be more like October now. Since I really wanted to travel to Italy in summer, I am now thinking of going to Australia instead. Thoughts? Suggestions?

Australia sounds like the better option, and I'm not just saying that because I want to go back either tongue
That time of year it's really nice back home, not too hot but still warm enough to go to the beach etc.

I could only imagine that Australia would be better for Summer-ish vacation in October. Of course, the whole planet is just going to get hotter until at least the end of 2013. So, maybe if Italy is where you really want to go, you should still go.
