Today was interesting.
I went with my Mom and Dad to assist the cleanup of my great-aunt Esther's (R.I.P.) place. My sole task (between periodic trips to Goodwill to donate miscellany) was to shred documents- bills, tax statements, medical info, cancelled checks, etc. I found it amazing just how much people are buried in paperwork throughout their lives. Twice I had to break because the shredder had overheated and simply stopped working(!). I wonder if this was ever a problem before people had electric bills, car payments, 401ks, and bank statements?
Thankfully, I have not inherited the pack-rat gene...at least I hope not.

Like we're ever gonna really need all that shit!
