Been in town all day, a bit of retail therapy if you like. Bought lots of nice new underwear to cheer myself up, new jeans and a few new tops

I also "Sponsored a Grandparent"! I pay 45 a quarter (50p a day/15 a week) which goes towards helping older people in the community... it helps pay for education about diseases and farming and how to earn a living and care for themselves. It also provides the essentials needed in the poorer communities, i.e. clothing and food etc.
My grandparent is called Tome Jose and he lives in Mozambique. He has had two wives, both of whom have passed away, and 21 children (15 of whom have died). He's got 22 grandchildren. Unfortunately his family are all too poor and needy themselves to be able to help him much. Tome is the president of the water committee in his community, so he helps maintain the wells and educates people about sanitation. He's also a very talented sculptor but due to a lack of materials he cannot practice it that often. Hopefully with my help and that of many hundreds of others, Tome and all the others will be on their way to a much better life.

In other news - my craving for new metal was not satisfied with the recent labret piercing, so have booked in to get my nape done on Friday afternoon. Score! I can't wait. And stretched my ears to 8mm too; I thought my right lobe would get really sore like the last time but it was so easy. Will get some pics up asap.
Oooh, here's a question.... who's going to be going to the SGUK scotland meet? Cos I sure as hell will be!
