The recent events in Iraq have me thinking. Lementing. It's all so sad, so useless. I'm so sorry for all the people who are hurting and baselessly detained and lost and the families of the dead.
I think everyone should see this woman's blog. She lives in Baghdad. I've posted the link in the CE boards a few times but here it is again.

The situation there is fucked and the Iraqi's don't seem to be helping.
I do agree with her on one point though. We should leave. Chaos? Civil War? Blood Shed? Let the Iraqi's have them all. We should bring our proud, hardworking, and sacrificing brothers and sisters home.
