As much as I adore the pictures in my previous entry, I have something more important to update with...
"Love is what we are born with. Fear is what we have learned here. The spiritual journey is the unlearning of fear and the acceptance of love back into our hearts."
You must acknowledge your fears so that you can relase them.
Take a minute to write your fears on small pieces of paper. For example My fear of such-and-such. I did this a moment ago and without even thinking I wrote three fears on pieces of paper and then came to a pause. I pondered for a moment and nothing more came. I was surprised at what my three most debilitating fears were. What surprised me the most was how much these core fears have affected my life for as long as I can remember from my early childhood. They are what have created my walls and my defenses, my insecurities.
Once you have your fears written and you have acknowledged them, say goodbye to them. Dispose of them in some appropriate manner, such as burning them.
You may be surprised at the relief this brings and if nothing else, you will have become more aware and one must start somewhere.

Making peace with oneself and learning about oneself are wonderful. Just remember not to extrapolate/learn the wrong lessons. It is better to go slowly, carefully. After all, isn't life about living while learning to live?
Cheers,
