So it was not a "Man Cold". Thank god for that.
It would appear that my inability to remain conscious a few weeks back was a "Hypoglycemic Episode" my Blood sugar got to low so basically Fat guy Don't eat = Fat guy passes out. So that shouldn't happen so I went and took advantage of my newly aquired Health Insurance and went to get checked out. After a weeks worth of doctors visits and blood work here is the deal.
I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes and although I haven't confirmed it yet, it seems to me that its a pretty advanced case. After a week of medication my blood sugar is still hovering between 280 and 310 and I'm still feeling pretty lousy. I am hoping that the meds just need time to build up in my system however I wont be surprised if I have to switch from the pills to injections.
What is surprising me is how upset I am about the whole thing. Maybe its the constant poking holes in my fingers, maybe its the results of the blood sugar tests constantly coming back way to high. Maybe I just don't want to deal with how serious an illness this is. I don't know but it's probably the whole having to QUIT DRINKING.
