Spent the afternoon battling through Red Sox revelers to get out of Boston today. Headed out to Salem, and checked out the Yin Yu Tang, A Chinese Home exhibit at the Peabody Essex museum. They didn't allow any photography so I dug up some pix online.







Pretty amazng really It was built two hundred years ago for a wealthy merchant in the Chinese village of Huang Cun, Yin Yu Tang is the first house brought from China to the United States. Disassembled and then reconstructed brick by brick, timber by timber. The process took three years.
