I'm sad that I haven't been very active on here lately. But, some good news about me going vegan! I am through week 1 of zero meat and very low dairy, this coming week is cutting out all dairy, then after that is soda (this past week i've maybe had soda 2 times) And in one week alone from eating more fruits and veggie and dramatically reducing my intake of dairy and ridding my diet of meat, I have lost six pounds! long way to go but I know that when I stay dedicated to this life style change I am going to be the healthiest I have ever been!

but do be careful that you get enough protein. not sure why you chose vegan, but our ancestors were carnivores and it is extremely tricky to get enough protein for muscle health without some kind of meat. a good piece of fish once a week can do wonders to keep your body happy. but if you are really set on vegan... make protein a priority.
