So I got my check, there was an ememrgency this morning which delayed me getting a call back.
Unfortunately since my Credit Union is in FL, and I use a service center here in Cali I have a new aggrivation.
According to my credit union in FL I get $100.00 available immediately and the rest of my deposit after a day or 2. Now if I deposit via an ATM I get $200 available immediately but that is a seperate network and there are no ATM's in the SW United States that I can make a deposit at so I'm fucked there. Now the credit union here in San Diego reflect that my deposit is available. No problem. I ask for $100.00 back. No can do. The credit union in FL is not allowing the transaction EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE TELLING THIS ONE THE FUNDS ARE AVAILABLE.
SO... I talked to my CU in FL earlier this week and they said that I should not be having this problem and they released the funds last time this happened and said that it should not happen again. Only it's happening.
Guess I make another angry phone call Monday morning.

If a deposit is made before said named time (in this case 2pm), and is drawn on a check by another financial institution; only the first one hundred dollars will be available to that night to cover any item which might clear.
The remaining amount will be deposited on the following business day, unless the check deposited is for a large amount and a hard hold on those funds is placed until a specific date.
Think about it like this the next time you cash a check wait one day for those funds to be available before making any purchases.
... I am so a bank bitch...
Bamf!
