Oh Lord, Please Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood...
So it turns out that I am a drama magnet. People meet me, figure out that I can be a good listener and suddenly out pops the drama. (Like, oh my god!) Well, the truth is. I do listen to people, and I do care about people. But I care about real problems not hysteria and bullshit posturing. The fact is. If you are bumming about something, and you need to get something off your chest, I'm not a bad guy to confide in. I don't repeat your shit, because I wouldn't want you to repeat mine. Do unto others and all that. On the other hand, when you bring some stupid shit on yourself, or you have some loser friend that does stupid shit all the time because he/she/it/they need to be the center of attention, then don't bring it to me. I don't fuckin care. 'Cause that's drama. And I have enough of that shit on my own. So yeah, I'm willing to listen to honest problems, but don't mistake me for someone who want's to live in your soap opera.
Late Night Snackage Discovery
Diamonds in the rough...
Today I discovered that not only is there a Jack In The Box hidden down 30th near my house, but the drive thru is open until at least 2 AM, maybe later. I don't know, but I know they are for sure open at 1:45 AM... I stopped there for food earlier and was quite happy with my bacon ultimate burger and jalapeno poppers, and now I am sipping a Dr Pepper and eating a salad. This is a salad like I would make for myself. I don't eat a lot of salads at fast food places, so I don't know if they are all like this, but it's big, they gave me bacon bits and chicken in good amounts on my salad and a lot of cheese. they use a little red leaf lettuce for color on an iceberg base. Personally I use a romain base with a little iceberg for filler when I make a salad, and I use either redleaf or greenleaf. I also use carrots in mine, but that's just how I roll. Ya know? And then I got to looking at the stuff they include and there is a big ass packet of croutons. Like an ounce or so, and ranch flavored sliced almonds like maybe a half ounce, which may not sound like much, but it's a good handfull. And a nice bacon ranch dressing. Vegans wouldn't like it, but then I think I have made my stance on that choice known. As for me. I like this salad. I would have made it a little different, but I would have had to toss my own salad, and frankly I don't feel that limber tonight. I was much happier to have the nice people at Jack In The Box toss my salad.

Well Aoife is in Canada watching World Cup Hockey. And Obsidity is at burning man I think. Anyway, that means that 2 of my cute friends are away from their computers so I can't chat with them on an instant messenger, or on a journal or anything for a little while. It's not that bad though. I have a few other good looking people on my friends list and a butt load of ugly ones. I will let you guys figure that out amongst yourselves...

So I loaded some utils on my neighbors system and I am getting all the malware off his computer. Sort of what I do for a living anyway. I'm even having to use Bazooka and get the really nasty stuff off of his system by using the registry editor and hunt the shit down. I would do it for him for free because he's a great guy and he is totally nuts over hockey. Even more than I am. Hell I think he may even know more than Aoife and she is pretty fuckin' savvy when it comes to hockey. I have a lot of respect for her, and I laugh at people who take her lightly, especially in hockey. Anyway. I'm working on his laptop. (OK a minute ago I was contemplating tossing salad and now I'm working on Eric's laptop. Any minute now I'm going to be chugging miles of cock. I need feminine companionship in a big way!) Where was I? Oh yeah. Eric comes over and pays me for working on his laptop. He gives me a ball cap. It says " 2001 Stanley Cup Champions" and has an Av's logo, (And a lot of you know about me and ball caps...) but even better than that a blank replica Av's Jersey (the dark one.) In fact here is a
link to a site that has them. If you look at the dark colored one in the middle, the one I have is the replica (no fight straps and a few other minor things). So I am really happy about that! I mean it has the Koho patch on the neck and everything! And the good things about San Diego is that you can wear a replica hockey jersey almost all year long.
