I hate when people sign things "best" as in:
Let's talk about the project soon.

Best what? Best wishes? Best be on my way? Best left unsolved? It smacks of impersonal perfunctory communication. Hell, I'll take the over-used "Sincerely," over "Best," any day of the week. It wouldn't be so bad if the word didn't imply excellence.
