The rains have returned!!!
We were having some wonderful eather here in Oregon and as expected we have returned to our normal rainy season.

Have not seen any good bands in a while, but I Eternal Summer and thought it was great.

Feeling a lot better from my last message when i was fighting the crazy cold that was hitting everyone in Portland.

Hoping to get band practice back in gear and see what i can do to revitalize and put more energy into playing music.

it is always hard because a band is similar to approaching the concept of asking 4 artists to paint on the...

Fighting this terrible cold that is going around is getting a little old. everyone seems to be getting it. The Native Americans from this rainy dank Willamette Valley said it was" the valley of sickness" I agree, but yet Portland has some strange pull that feels more welcoming then many other US Cities.

I guess I am doomed to get sick each winter! puke

Did not...

So are you traveling yet? What's up?

I was sad when I learned that SG had moved away from p-town too, but it still seems to attract a wonderful group of oddly inspiring and delightfully intelligent peeps. The SG experience is all about what one makes of it. And the ladies are still as lovely, sexy and creative as they have always been, so that keeps me happyhappy. (Nixion's set has definitely raised the SG bar once again!)

Here's a hug to chase away those crumudgenly meany feelings. *smooooooshie* Now smile damnit! wink

What a headache it was to add aprofile pic. I am a skinny boy. All the photoshop compression and tweeking makes me look like a different person. I have no more patience to deal with it. They really need to make the process for adding a profile pic easier!!!!

Had a decent band practice this weekend. Still trying to figure a way to channel the...

Had a great time last night checking out a friends band Digital Knife. they were very entertaining. A little piece of Nation of Ulysees lurking in their show. And drummer Tistan was great.

Friday, contrary to my best judgement-- I checked out 80's night at Lola's and wound up having a great time dancing the whole night until they closed. There is nothing like hearing...

I am indeed brunch queen!

My favorite place for brunch in NYC is probably Rue B (ave B and 11th). I also like Essex a lot but the service is piss poor and the food can be a tiny bit hit and miss...but with unlimited mimosas you cant go too wrong!

I havent ever been to South Africa-- what is bringing you over there?

Another crazy day in the workplace. Heading to the rock gym tomorrow should be a nice outlet from the insanity of work politics.

Went to a class tonight with a woman who has been snow camping for 55 years, she rocked!! it was great to hear some good stories and get some new tips on backwoods snow camping and its implications for snowboarding free of...

Off to jam with a band today to see where things go. So hard in PDX to find interesting people to play with who don't want to have some bloody jam band.

Hopefully get up to the Mountain tomorrow or Monday for some snowboaridng.

Love my New i-sight for my MAC.

Still looking for late night climbing partners for the Portland Climbing Gym on Burnside...
