Had a great time last night checking out a friends band Digital Knife. they were very entertaining. A little piece of Nation of Ulysees lurking in their show. And drummer Tistan was great.
Friday, contrary to my best judgement-- I checked out 80's night at Lola's and wound up having a great time dancing the whole night until they closed. There is nothing like hearing a blast from the past like Joy Division's Love will Tear us Apart. My friend said he was there last week and the Dj was playing the same exact set. At least he was not as lame as that 80's DJ Gregarious that i saw once around PDX..
Got a piece of software from a friend so now maybe I can try to add photos

well, maybe it doesnt suck to live here, but theres no doubt that living somewhere in europe or maybe even in the states would be alot more fun.

My favorite place for brunch in NYC is probably Rue B (ave B and 11th). I also like Essex a lot but the service is piss poor and the food can be a tiny bit hit and miss...but with unlimited mimosas you cant go too wrong!
I havent ever been to South Africa-- what is bringing you over there?
