I tried to get a handle on my insomnia like issues. I tried to go to bed early and stay asleep all night, but that did not happen. I am now wide awake! I have to be up early, at 8am to give blood work, then I have a 10am doctors appointment. then after that, i have to go to my mothers home to finish reupholstering her chairs, so she can leave me the hell alone!
so today i start my unofficial liquid pre-op diet. I actually don't start the real one until Monday, but I want to break myself into doing it, so it's not that much of a shock when I start the full fledge liquid diet. but i figure, i should be able to pull this off without much of a problem. because my eating schedule is weird anyways. as long as i am keeping myself busy, i can do this. I still have 3 pounds to lose before my pre op weight in, for my goal weight this Thursday. So I will be revving up the exercise (basically walking a bit longer and a bit faster-i cant overexert myself-damn fibromyalgia)
and yeah. ive been making bags. i kind of slacked off and need to finish the two that are left. then start on a whole other batch of the bigger size bags . I believe I have a lot of smaller ones.
for ren faire this year (2010) to be a vendor, you need to have your vendor application in by January 31-then you need $725 by march as a vendor fee if you get accepted as a vendor. THEN you have to either build, or lease a booth/building at the faire. and im like, thats a lot of freaking money. i would LOVE to have my stuff at faire one year, but for 2010 I think it may be too soon. We will see. So I need ALL OF YOU to send out some good vibes! Let my shop get some exposure, more items being brought. I want to be known in the "rennie" world eventually lol! And then have a shop at the faire. Now although this will mean few regular days at the faire walking around, but actually working in my shop. I've been told its great. You still dress up, you eat what and when you want. And you can drink! lol.
my husband and i were trying to figure out how to work it out. Because I would need to be down there every weekend. I said I would just stay in a hotel. I mean a booth at a shop will easily sell at least $1000 per day at the fair. But he said I should invest in maybe getting a little RV or trailer. That way I can just park it in the local mall parking lot. Either way, I would need to bring my sewing machine.
Now on my etsy shop-I will be selling a variety of things. If I had a ren fair booth, I would limit it to bags, corsets, chemises, doublets (maybe), and skirts, and simple dresses.
