Went to a party last night and got stuck taking some random guy I didn't know to his girlfriend's house. It was an awkward car ride home -- what, with my trying to make small talk and silent pleas to a higher being that I wouldn't end up dead.
Being DD is a sad thing. I was literally the only person not drinking. I must have gotten at least 50 comments from 50 different people. It was my choice, yes, but as everyone was having a grand ol' drunken time, I was sober and judgmental. Not, "Oh, hi, you're a drunken tard," but, "Oh, hi, you probably shouldn't be fucking right here, because the guy in the corner -- the one taking pictures -- will probably post it on the internet, and you're going to be famous for innovative moves but not get the cash for it." It disturbed me that my friend was making out with every guy right in front of her boyfriend -- while in a monogamous relationship -- and her boyfriend did nothing.
Oh well. I'm not used to this type of thing. Honestly, it was my first "real" party. When I was sixteen and so on, I'd go to parties, yeah... in which case I'd usually end up naked by the end of the night... but it was with like, 15 people, and they were all my twenty-something friends.
Last night there must have been seriously 150 people crammed into the house (albeit a huge, four bedroom, four bathroom), and other random people coming in and out throughout the night. My friend, the "host" didn't even know some of them. It was crazy.
I did have fun though. I should do that more often. And have someone be MY DD... yeah.
Ha. Is it extremely obvious that I'm a nerd?
