Yesterday I finally finished up the show I've been working on all summer in TVLand and it's nice to have a bit of closure, as much as I love the work. Inevitably, the DT's set in as I begin to wonder where my next job is coming from...although as luck would have it, I came home from the finished job yesterday to find a most savoury message from another TV station asking me if I can work some days in October. Delightful! Which means I have a week or so to enjoy the pleasures of low-maintenance living, peppered with a few photo shoots to liven up the proceedings.
And tonight I managed an impressive feat of multi-tasking as I simultaneously rehearsed with the band while successfully bidding on eBay for a couple of DVD's - the original Wes Craven version of The Hills Have Eyes as well as a Criterion edition of Polanski's Knife in the Water. A most productive night indeed.
Tomorrow night I play at Grossman's Tavern for one of our regular nights of debauchery and mayhem - the perfect remedy for the heavy dose of work recently and all its side effects. A Creemore and a Bushmill's to the stage please, barkeep!

semicynical:
Ah Grossman's. I spent many an evening there in my not-so-mispent youth.
