took a day off work yesterday so I could go trick or treating with my son...took him and one of the neighboors around for a few blocks...it brought back a lot of memories from when I used to do it...how you would skip houses that had no decorations, or the lights were out, but the your average 4 yr old is not a seasoned pro when it comes to tricks or treats...plus they have no stamina...he was done within an hour...he went as spiderman in one of those costumes with the muscles built in...they give these costumes enormous upper bodies and no lower bodies...so it looks like he's been doing upper body and skipping lower body for about 5 yrs...it's hilarious. people said a few years ago that halloween was waning, but i got a ton of trick or treaters last night, and the hooliganism appears to be in full swing.
reading: nothing at the moment
listening to: Hard Skin "Same Meat, Different Gravy"
saw: "A History of Violence"...it was really good. I recommend it, but not as a date movie...
