back at work after a looonnggg weekend...saturday was crazy, work, driving, getting tattooed, drinking with friends, friends getting in fights after too much drinking (whiskey really is the devil)...3 hours sleep, driving back to chicago, out to the southside irish parade with friends and family...party back at my place...up too late, drank too much...on the couch sick with a cold for the last 2 days...
smoked a little, drank some more, worked in the studio...

yeah i definitely liked the sound of the short stories collection when i saw the "inspired by" credit. i'll definitely look into it when i get a chance.
thursday is the new friday since i have to work saturday...
this weekend is my beloved southside irish parade...about which i have read some disparaging remarks both here on suicide girls and on craig's list, but no matter...i love it warts and all...i know how it works, i know it's secrets, i know the in's and out's...also getting tattooed on saturday, only 3 more sessions...

weather permitting, my roomie and i are going. if the weather sucks, we're staying home. 
monday at work...finally almost over...it takes almost as much effort to fuck around all day and do nothing as it does to actually work...
finally friday...nothing going on this weekend...just sleeping, studio, relaxing, hanging out with family...maybe a few pints at Keegan's...have a good weekend.

i basically can't wait until st. patrick's day, or the southside parade actually...i was invited to march in it by one of my cousins in a local labor union and my son would be able to ride on the float. depending on the weather, i think he would love that. i am also going to stop bitching about living on the southside and stop wishing...
