i had joked with my hurricane-stricken friends in florida recently that my part of the world is largely free from any major natural disasters other than a bit too much rain now and then.
i spoke too soon. apparently this place could blow at any moment.
of course, everything i'm reading says there's a 50/50 chance of absolutely nothing happening, but the opposite end of the spectrum is a 'minor to moderate dome explosion'. i doubt it'd blanket the region in ash like it did last time, and i actually kinda want to see it happen, if it's going to be so tiny it can't hurt anyone, but i'm not sure i like the implications.
