got out of the house for the first time in a week or so at least. well, not counting going into the hospital to have my toe looked at.
it's nice to be able to walk around normally and not worry about my nail cutting into my toe anymore.
went by the mall, which was awkward on two counts. first, having quit tru on uneasy terms, not having given two weeks, i feel nervous going back there, mostly because i'm worried i'll see my supervisor who wasn't there the day i quit and he'll be mad at me or something.
instead, there were only a few people there and they didn't seem to care that i was in. nice.
nothing much new, of course. i really wish i'd picked up dextrus from the imaginext line when i found him and enchantra at freddies, because nobody is restocking that stuff. oh well. i did get enchantra and she rules.
found the ridiculously superposable spiderman from spidey 2. he's got, what 49 points of articulation? three different shoulder joints which still don't give him a perfect range of motion, individually jointed fingers, a really really nice neck joint(he can look up and down convincingly, hope this becomes standard), and the rest was more or less marvel legends caliber. he's not quite as amazing as i'd hoped, but he's still one of toy biz's best, and that's pretty damn good. solidly built too.
also went by KB. it was totally sad to see it completely empty and barren
freddies has crappy digital cameras in clamshell packages out next to the film and disposable analog cameras. you can get a like, 100,000 pixel, no frills at all, for $30. disposable digital cameras. sw33t.
either kodak or canon is completely dropping 'real' film cameras this year. i think that's stupid, they should always keep making real film, but oh well. money talks i suppose. i know i never bothered with a 'real' camera, but i love my digital one to death.
