A variety of subjects:
I'm working on some flash art for friends, and most likely will be furthering them to make full-page Flash-Art.
Here is a sample of one of the pieces I'm working on for a friend, to be placed on his upper chest area:
I Recently rented out the new DVD, "Hulk vs Wolverine/Thor, and I have to say, it's one of the best Cartoons I've ever seen!
I fisrt saw the Wolverine side at the San-Diego-Comic-Con this past July, on a giant movie screen, and the audience went nuts for it.
screenwriter/Producers
Because it was a straight-to-DVD, the Producers and screenwriters were able to beyond the limitations of standard TV cartoon series like the 90's "X-men"-(I REALLY HATED this cartoon!!!)
or the "X-men:Evolution" series-(Which I don't even consider a X-Men cartoon, because NOT ONE character was ANYTHING like the Comic-Books')
The "Hulk Vs" DVD does a awesome job of bringing out the hard, brutal nature of both the Hulk and Wolverine, as well as the other "Baddies" that appear. No punches are pulled. The Hulk is a raging, unstoppable, unapologetic monster, ad Wolverine is a killing machine, and a bit of a jerk!
I highly recommend renting this DVD.
On the DVD was a preview of the new"Wolverine and the X-Men" 26-episode series, which I'm not sure if it will be a DVD release or regular TV cartoon series. I'll reserve judgement, until I see it, but the preview really looked good, and the writers themselves said that they are really staying true to the Comic-Book versions as far as personalities, ages, roles, and story-lines.
Lastly, I also saw on DVD, "There Will Be Blood", with Daniel Day Lewis.
An incredible picture!
His character reminded alot of his role as "Bill-The-Butcher" in "Gangs of NEW YORK".
A Movie I Luv!
Daniel Day Lewis is one of my top 10 Actors of all time, his portrayal of "The Butcher" is incredible.
