Started my first day of Tattoo training at M&M Tattoo today.
It was definitely very interesting. Although my artistic skills are above par, learning about the tattoo equipment, how it works, & how to use it successfully is gonna take time.
I was shown the making of stencils, a quick reference to the healthcare & cleaning process, and about the Tattoo machine.
My day ended with me practicing shapes & such with the machine, originally on a special paper, and then on an orange.
I go back tomorrow & continue on from there. I'm not sure I'll ever have the huge "Passion" that many tattoo artists have for it. I believe that Comic-books will always be my first love, but until I can catch my first real break in that industry, I would rather do something artistic, like tattoo, for a living rather than anything else.
If I'm doing Tattoos & I get that break, I'll put aside the tattoo as a major financial provider for a time & concentrate on Comics.

P.S. - I'm by no means giving up on my Comic-book & Comic-strip. If anything, working on learning Tattoo will keep me motivated to work on my other projects.
