I visited a ghost town this weekend. It was way far out in the middle of the mountains..about a 2 hour drive, but well worth it. The town was full of empty houses in disrepair, and perhaps it was the weather (all drizzly) or the time of night (around 2 in the morning), but I was entirely freaked out. It's not that I'm often afraid of exploring,or even empty buildings...I just worry about going out into the middle of nowhere and finding..well..I don't know..has anyone ever seen that cheap thrills horror flic Wrong Turn?

The day after all of that wild exploring I went apple picking with my dear friends. That was lovely and best of all,FREE!! It was the perfect weather for that kind of thing. My friend J-rods daughter went along with us and I think she ate, like, 5 apples and 4 cider donuts...but she's a mad girl.
Yesterday I saw Eastern Promises..that was alright. I loved all of the acting, and I thought the movie carried itself well...but I hadn't known at all what the movie was about before I went into the theatre.

Sounds nice! But I don't think I'd be brave (hehe) enough to go to a ghost town at 2 am.
I'd probably faint or something if I heard anything unexpected lol
