I went out and did the social thing, with real live people and everything. Two days in a row no less.
I've been becoming such a hermit lately, just staying alone in my place, not going out. Honestly, I don't mind it at all. I spent enough time doing the "club thing" and the "scene thing" when I was younger ... I think I just sort of grew out of it. Now-a-days I would usually much rather stay at home and relax in quiet and solitude. Stoopit people tend to annoy the piss out of me, and the chances of me having to talk to or interact with stupid annoying people when I go out are about the same as my chances of getting wet when I go swimming.
Going to Philly in a couple of days for an MSI concert. For almost the last ten years I've gone to just about every MSI concert in the tri-state area. I remember when their shows would only attract a handful of people. I remember when they sounded absolutely horrible live ... but even then, their concerts were still amazing fun. It's been great getting to watch them grow and advance as performers, but as they grow, a lot of what made their shows so much fun is starting to fade away. With the increase in the size of the crowds they draw, a lot of the personal touch is missing. You don't see as many mascots and furries at the shows anymore either. Kinda sad ...
Oh well, I am still looking forward to it.
