The Lonely Sunset
As another day,
Fades to gray.
It must first fashion,
All the colors of passion.
With a blue,
So true.
Like the bond in our hearts,
That no one can tear apart.
Brilliant shades of red,
Like a rose without an end.
Just as the love we both hold,
Will never grow old.
And a color as the nectar,
Of an orange's sweet center.
As the taste of your skin,
Makes my heart stop,
Then start beating again.
That last bit of yellow,
Like a bird that bellows.
One more day without you ends,
I'm one day closer to being with you again.
With such a wondrous sight,
It ushers in the night.
Though all I can think about is you,
I know you miss me too.
As another day,
Fades to gray.
It must first fashion,
All the colors of passion.
With a blue,
So true.
Like the bond in our hearts,
That no one can tear apart.
Brilliant shades of red,

Great work here btw!
