So I just returned from seeing my mother who I have not seen in over 13years. I wished I could say that I feel better after the 9 hour talk I had with her while I was there, but I cannot in truth I felt like i got nowhere.

Yes I went to see her because she found out that she is dieing. she has about 4 months left. I went to make peace with her. I put on a nice face and let my mother feel everything is ok between us so she could feel good.

When I first saw my mother I was like no way she is only 56; she looked like she was 80 something. Yes she has not taken care of herself and that has played a huge part in her present situation.

The good thing about the trip was I got to see my nieces and nephew. One niece i had not seen since she was 1 she is now 14 and has boys knocking down her door. So I gave her my full length leather coat and my hoodie I got from my martial arts Dojo. And told her that if guys give her trouble just remind them that she has a 6'4" 205lb uncle who will hunt them down. hehehehehehehe

My other niece was only 8 so I have a little time before I have to worry about her, and my nephew is 9 he is a gentleman to the T.

My sister who I have also not seen in 13 years was much better to get along with then my mother.

I am home now with a very much renewed since of taking care of myself, and those around me. And to live life to its fullest. Never let any chance to learn something new slip by, or chance to have fun. enjoy life and have no regrets for doing so!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
