Getting lost in the City of Books while particularly perceptive of the content of the city can be a strange and extraordinary experience. Encounters with various forms of information transmission (liquid information being my favorite, of course) is an excellent way to maintain one's mental acuity.
I also listened to the Flaming Lips'Zaireeka for the first time in a while yesterday. Zaireeka is an 8 track album spread across 4 different discs, which are meant to be played simultaneously. It's certainly an investment of time, but it does actually sound quite amazing. The amount of interactivity between artist & audience is swell.
I think I'm going to read the Divine Invasion by PKD and practice with my sphere in the park today. I'm trying to brush myself out of new routines and that seems like one of better ways to do it. And other routines...
