Time for an update, though probably brief...
10/30- We headed to Las Vegas, quick and easy flight and soon we were in my favorite place (For Gambling at least!). We then proceeded to settle in and check out the area, lunch was good at the little Kahunaville in our hotel and then the hubby visited the Oxygen Bar. Later that evening we got to meet up with my lovely friend from here Ta2dmom! It was fun we were hungry so we went and enjoyed the CPK in the Mirage where she proceeded to win all the casinos money with a dollar bet!!! (Ha Ha! Really it was $27) We took some parting pictures which I believe I need to hunt her down to get! We did a little more gambling and then stopped in the all night cafe and had some of the best French Onion soup, I don't know why, but LV always makes me quite hungry?!
(ISWEAR I'm not STONED!!!)
10/31- Halloween, a good day for a short wedding!! We got up early for people who were out pretty late and without a 2 year old (I don't sleep well in hotels), so we then proceeded to get dressed and head out to Ceasars so that I could get my makeup done at MAC. The people around me also getting their makeup done were the Queen of Hearts and one of the Supremes (He looked awesome!!), it was pretty cool, I would have preferred better more dramatic makeup but at this point we were already running late. We then ran back to our hotel dressed and jumped in a cab over to the wedding at Tropicana, we were exactly 2 minutes late and we walked in as they said "You may now kiss the bride!" Short!!! They said the whole wedding was 3 minutes long. OY!!! So then I proceeded to see some of the people I hadn't seen in 10 and 12 years and we had some drinks and played a little Video Poker, where I won $100 off a quarter!! We then headed over to the reception at The Rainforest Cafe. The rest of the night consisted of drinking, gambling and catch up...
I'm hoping someone else at the wedding got better pictures of me cause mine sucked....and i look super fat!
And here is the Bride and Groom with Halloween glowing eyes, how fitting!! HA!!
The next day we pretty much went home, it was my hubby's birthday, and rested a bit.
As I addressed in my last entry my friends baby daughter passed away and things were very emotional for me, along with some other issues we're having with my deceased uncles wife and kids, things were kind of crazy so I went up to Sacramento and spent some time with family and returned late on Monday and since then I feel almost jet lagged. So that is about it for me, I'm not really active on here a lot lately, but I just have so much crap going on it's hard, as we all do at times. So encourgement and best wishes are welcomed.
